Adults

Moving organisations away from reactive cultures of care towards proactive cultures of care.

About our training

Our training provides staff with the knowledge and skills to confidently support adults who may at times present behaviours of concern. The application of trauma and Positive Behaviour Support informed approaches to behaviours of concern provides an explicit evidenced based framework to support and guide staff practice, one which evidence suggests is likely to be successful.

A focus on person centred planning, capable environments, and the nurturing of attuned empathetic relationships, leads to improvements in quality of life and overall happiness. A natural consequence of this reductions in restrictive practices and behaviours that challenge.

Values

Human rights-based values underpin everything we do. Our core values are centred on moving organisations away from reactive cultures of care toward proactive cultures of care. Every individual being supported is held in unconditional positive regard.

Aims

To reduce restrictive practices and improve quality of life for service users, their families and carers and the staff supporting them.
